Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Bid & Business Development Technical Manager will work closely with him/her during the proposal and/or business development phase.
Your tasks
Your main tasks, under the responsibility of the Head of Sales, will be :
- Offer phase :
- Receive and analyze the requests for quotation sent to him/her.
- Define the technical proposal strategy by proposing a target system architecture
- Specify the development effort
- Write the technical content of the proposals
- Participate in the proposal validation process (reviews)
- Business development phase :
- Participate in international conferences
- Participate to the definition of the functional evolutions on the development of new products or on the improvement of existing products
- Initiate new ideas for presentation or demonstration to customers
- Ensure a technological benchmark

Required profile
You have a degree in Engineering or a Master’s in Computer Engineering, a solid understanding of IT architecture and a good knowledge of the Earth Observation ecosystem. The ability to interact comfortably with customers and collaborate effectively with the internal development team is a must. Excellent written and verbal presentation skills (in both English & French) are required. Security clearance may be required at some point after recruitment, and this position requires timely international travel.
Min. training : Engineer or Master in Computer Engineering
Min. experience : Min 5/10 years of experience, ideally +5 years in the space industry
